Carrie grew up on the family farm in Indiana and then attended Ball State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism, with minors in Marketing and Speech Communication. Later she completed a program with an ABA approved paralegal school in Dallas, Texas.

Carrie has worked for Patent Prosecution and Trademark firms, as well as the Probate and Trust Department for the American Cancer Society. Most recently Carrie has worked at the Stewart Title corporate office in Oklahoma City as an Escrow Coordinator for both commercial and residential closings, as well as title policy and research.

Carrie has lived in Indiana, Colorado, Texas and now, Piedmont, Oklahoma, while raising her three children, Alex, Sam and Harper. She enjoys traveling, reading, and pretending to garden, while hanging out with partner, Bret, her three dogs and two cats.
