Emmaly Helt is a CPA in the tax and accounting department, working on tax returns, research and planning.
Professional Experience
While obtaining her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Emmaly worked part-time at accounting firms in Weatherford and Kingfisher, gaining experience in accounting and tax return preparation. After graduating with a master’s degree, Emmaly was an Audit Associate for the national accounting firm BKD, LLP before joining the Harrison & Mecklenburg team in July 2020.
Emmaly is a current member of both the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Education
Emmaly graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2019 with a Master of Science in Accounting degree, receiving Highest Honors.
Emmaly received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2018, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was named SWOSU Outstanding Accounting Student her senior year.
Personal Life
Born and raised in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Emmaly worked at Wheeler Brothers Grain during wheat harvest for seven summers and was active in the Kingfisher FFA Chapter during high school.
Emmaly enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and spending time on the family farm.
